About This Activity
Instructor: Brooke Hammond In this 8-week immersive and hands-on experience, students ages 9 and up will explore the endless possibilities of clay, refine their techniques, and bring their creative ideas to life through sculpture and pottery. Course Highlights: Advanced Techniques: Tailored for older children, this class introduces more advanced clay methods such as coil-building, slab construction, and detailed sculpting. Students will learn to master air-dry clay while expressing their unique artistic visions. Personalized Guidance: Students receive one-on-one attention to help nurture their creativity, build skills, and enhance their overall artistic development. Diverse Projects: This class offers a variety of projects that ensure each session is full of new challenges and exciting creative opportunities. Creative Freedom: As students advance, we encourage them to take ownership of their projects, fostering both structured learning and the freedom to experiment and create in their own style. By the end of the course, they'll have crafted a collection of intricate, detailed works of art.
