About This Activity
Whether you're picking up an Apple Pencil for the first time or you've already spent hours in Procreate, this 6-week class meets you where you are and pushes you further. Through guided projects and open studio time, you'll strengthen your fundamentals, sharpen your technique, and develop a visual style that's your own. New students will get comfortable with the tools and workflow. Returning students will dig deeper into the craft, refining their process and tackling more ambitious pieces. Everyone works on projects with room to grow at their own level. What we'll explore: Procreate tools, layers, masks, and blending modes Custom brushes, textures, and time-saving techniques Line work, shading, lighting, and color theory Composition and storytelling through imagery Who it's for: Anyone who wants to make digital art, from first-timers to returning students ready to level up. No experience required, and no ceiling on how far you can go. You'll leave with new skills, finished original artwork, and the confidence to keep creating. iPads and Apple Pencils are provided by the MACC, though students are welcome to bring their own.
