About This Activity
Ever wanted to make your own horror movie? This fall, students will write, film, and star in an original horror movie of their very own! Working as a filmmaking team, students will develop an original horror story and screenplay, then bring it to life on camera with guidance from industry filmmaking professionals. Along the way, they'll get hands-on experience with screenwriting, acting, directing, camera work, and everything that goes into running a film set. This is a fun, collaborative class where everyone is part of the creative process—from the first story idea all the way to the final cut. And the best part? We'll wrap up with a special screening of their finished horror film, just in time for Halloween!
