About This Activity
Let your imagination run wild in this fun and creative mixed media art class! Young artists will explore how different materials, colors, textures, and techniques can come together to create unique works of art. Students will experiment with watercolor, acrylic paint, oil pastels, collage papers, fabric, and found objects while learning techniques like stamping, layering, resist painting, and creating raised textures. Each project encourages kids to try new things, make creative choices, and turn their big ideas into colorful 2D and 3D artwork. With plenty of room to experiment and play, students will build confidence while discovering that in art, there are no mistakes—just happy accidents!
