Art in Layers: Collage is a creative deep dive into the art of building images piece by piece for ages 9–12. In this mixed media camp, students will explore how layering paper, paint, texture, and found materials can transform simple elements into powerful works of art. Campers will experiment with composition, contrast, color relationships, and storytelling as they cut, tear, arrange, and assemble their designs. From bold abstract pieces to meaningful narrative collages, students will learn how layering adds depth and movement to their artwork. On the final day of camp, we invite parents to a special reception to celebrate their young artists and to see the work your children have created throughout the week.
