About This Activity

Instructor: Brooke Hammond Ready to get a little messy and have a lot of fun? In this hands-on clay camp, artists ages 8 and up will squish, shape, and sculpt their way through a week of wildly creative projects! Campers will dream up and build their own whimsical creatures—think googly-eyed monsters, tiny forest sprites, silly dragons, funky sea blobs, magical hybrids, and totally made-up critters with big personalities. The focus is on imagination and fun as students add playful details like wild textures, exaggerated features, funny expressions, spikes, wings, horns, or anything else their creativity can invent. This camp is all about bold ideas, creative freedom, and not being afraid to get your hands dirty. Whether your child already loves clay or is excited to try it for the first time, they’ll leave with imaginative handmade creatures and a big sense of pride in what they created. Let’s make something delightfully weird and wonderful! On the final day of camp, we invite parents to a special reception to celebrate their young artists and to see the work your children have created throughout the week.
