Get ready for a creative expedition in Jungle Jam, a lively mixed media art camp designed for young artists! During this imaginative adventure, campers will explore the wonders of the jungle and bring its fascinating animals to life through art. Using a variety of materials such as paint, clay, yarn, and paper, students will create colorful jungle creatures while experimenting with pattern, texture, and bold color. Campers will fold playful frog origami, draw vibrant jungle scenes with tigers inspired by the artwork of Henri Rousseau, and weave long, slithering snakes using yarn and simple weaving techniques. Each day blends creativity, storytelling, and hands-on artmaking as the classroom transforms into a lush rainforest filled with imagination, exploration, and artistic discovery. 🌿🐍🎨 On the final day of camp, we invite parents to a special reception to celebrate their young artists and to see the work your children have created throughout the week.
