Bright days meet spooky nights in this imaginative art adventure for ages 8–11! Sunshine & Spooks is all about playful contrasts—happy summer vibes mixed with a dash of not-too-scary fun. Campers will create glowing sunsets, beachy scenes, and cheerful summer art—then flip the script with whimsical ghosts, quirky haunted houses, mysterious forests, and magical twilight skies. Using a mix of painting, collage, texture techniques, and creative building, students will explore light vs. dark, warm vs. cool colors, and how mood can change a piece of art. This camp encourages storytelling, bold creativity, and experimenting with new materials. On the final day of camp, we invite parents to a special reception to celebrate their young artists and to see the dollhouse your children have dreamed up throughout the week.
