About This Activity
Instructor: Anna Grayson Enameling is the art of placing colored, powdered glass onto metal and fusing it under the heat of a torch. Learn how to handle a torch safely, how to properly heat up metal and how to layer powdered enamel to create intricate designs. The art of enameling is super fun, and produces dynamic, colorful jewelry. By the end, you'll transform a simple copper pendant necklace into a vibrant, wearable piece of art and have the skills to continue your enameling journey at home. If there is time, students will be able to enamel a second pendant necklace. All materials are supplied. Please note that for this workshop, the instructor will be the only one handling the torch.
