About This Activity
Instructor: Allie Beshearse Get inspired by the outdoors in this teen plein air painting workshop! Students will head outside onto the beautiful Monthaven grounds to paint from life using either watercolor or acrylic paints. Along the way, they’ll experiment with loose brushwork, quick color studies, light and shadow techniques, and capturing the mood of a scene in the moment. Whether painting trees, architecture, gardens, or hidden corners of the property, this class is a fun and relaxing way to build painting skills, explore creativity, and enjoy time outdoors.
