For the Skaters
Whether you are nervously stepping onto a board for the first time or starting to gain some serious confidence on the ramps, our coaches are right there with you. We focus on teaching the right techniques while making sure you feel supported every step of the way. We focus on turning "I can’t" into "I just did," giving you the tools to conquer the park and the grit to keep trying until you stick the landing. With exclusive use of the Hermosa Beach Skatepark, skaters have the perfect playground to master everything from basic cruising to advanced flip tricks and ramp work.For the ParentsWe know your summer days are busy. Drop the kids off for five hours of active, supervised fun in a safe and supportive environment. As a family-owned local business, we design our programs to exceed our own expectations as parents. You can feel confident at drop-off knowing your child is building confidence and skills under the watchful eye of our talented coaching team and our dedicated 1:5 coach-to-participant ratio. We’ve got the safety, the gear, and the stoke covered!
What Makes Saturdays Special?
- Mentorship in Motion: Our final 15 minutes features a free skate where our coaches (fully geared up!) skate alongside the kids, acting as peers and mentors to inspire the next generation of skaters.
- Skill-Level Stations: We divide the park into dedicated zones: Basics & Pushing, Flatground Tricks, and Transition/Ramp work, ensuring every skater gets instruction tailored to their ability.
- The Atmosphere: There is nothing like a session with a great playlist and good people. We keep the music going to create a relaxed, high-energy space where skaters can hang out and connect with others who love skateboarding just as much as they do.
- Skate Culture & Community: Beyond the board, we host "Social Snack" sessions to talk gear, history, and pro tips, helping kids feel like true "insiders" in the skate world.
- The "Board Tap" Shoutouts: We end every session in a circle, celebrating resilience and creativity with a traditional "Board Tap" (banging boards on the ground) to honor the skaters who gave it their all.
What to Bring?We want every skater to stay fueled and focused throughout the morning. Please provide your skater with a labeled water bottle, a snack, and a lunch. All skaters are required to gear up with helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, and closed-toe shoes. Don’t have your own gear? No worries! We’ve got you covered with pads/helmets and skateboards available for use.
