About This Activity
We are thrilled that your child will be participating in Valor Young Musician Academy (same as Orchestra Club last year) through our Valor partnership this school year! We’ve made a few adjustments, so please take a moment to read the details below. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Beginners (no experience playing their instrument) will meet on Tuesdays from 8-9 am and Thursdays from 7-8 am. In this class, students will learn to play their instruments and learn how to read and play music. Intermediate players (students who have at least one year of playing experience) will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8 am. In this class, students will continue to learn how to play their instruments and will learn to play more music. The Intermediate students will have an hour of quiet time from 8-9 am on Tuesdays to do homework or read a book while Mrs. Mason teaches the Beginning students. They will be supervised during this time. *For all classes, students will be dropped off at the Valor Center. (3775 Grace Blvd, right across the street from CHC) *After class, all students will be walked from the Valor Center over to CHC with a Valor or CHC staff member in time for their first class of the day.
