About This Activity
This class will help students learn how to learn and will provide incoming 9th graders with the executive. functioning skills they need to navigate high school successfully. Students will learn how to manage their time, organize materials, and set achievable goals. Students who take this summer course are strongly encouraged to enroll in the academic management course for at least the first semester of their freshman year. The academic management course will provide ongoing support for students to apply the skills they learn in the summer to the courses they take during the school year. Families are eligible to receive a 100% refund if the student withdraws no later than two weeks prior to the start of class. Families are eligible to receive a 75% refund if the student withdraws within two weeks but prior to 3 days before the start of class. No refunds will be granted for students who withdraw within three days prior to the start of class or any time thereafter.
