About This Activity
The Future Stars Academy at Smith Stearns was created to deliver the same high-quality instruction we’re known for—tailored specifically for younger athletes. Designed for ages 4–10, this program introduces kids to the fundamentals of tennis in a fun, dynamic, and encouraging environment. Our goal is to give each “future star” a strong foundation in the Smith Stearns training philosophy from an early age. Players will focus on: • Stroke production and proper technique • Grips and ball placement • Basic strategy and patterns of play All while developing a genuine love for the game. Fall Semester Dates: • Start: Week of September 8 (first session is September 8) • End: Week of November 10 (last session is November 15) Class Times: • Mondays: 4:30–5:30 PM • Saturdays: 10:00–11:00 AM Program Options: • One Day per Week • Two Days per Week As players grow in age, confidence, and ability, they’ll be ready for a smooth and successful transition into our Junior Development Program (Pre-Academy).
