The Around the World enrichment class introduces young students to different countries,cultures, traditions and languages in a fun and interactive way. Each week, students will "travel" to a new country and explore its food, music, landmarks, animals, and traditions through stories , crafts, games, and simple cultural activities. This class encourages curiosity about the world, respect for different cultures, and the development of language and social skills. Activities will be age- appropriate and hands-on so children can learn through creativity, movement, and imagination. Each week students will: -Discover a new country and locate it on a world map or globe . -Listen to a short story or fun facts about the country's culture or traditions . -Complete a creative activity such as craft, drawing, or small project inspired by the country. -Experience Music, dance, or simple greetings in another language. -Share ideas and participate in a group about what they learned. -Practice creativity, teamwork, and respect for the cultures.
