This class focuses on Raqs Sharqi (oriental dance) AKA "belly dance." During this class, students will learn basic technique for Egyptian belly dance. Students will also begin to understand arms, movement quality and cultural understanding of elegant oriental dance. This class is great for those wanting to strengthen their core, improve their posture and gain confidence, while learning a beautiful art form. Open to adults and teens!
