About This Activity
The 3/4 Club Lacrosse Team is for students interested in learning the exciting game of lacrosse! Players need to provide their own stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads and gloves. (The club provides the uniform and does have some new and used equipment to help participants get started with the sport.) The game is played in an age-appropriate way on a smaller field with fewer players at a time. The fundamentals of stick handling, passing, shooting and defense are taught in a fun, engaging and Christ-centered way. Practice days are Wednesdays and Fridays (6:00-7:30pm) with league games on Saturday mornings after Spring Break. Family info night and equipment fitting is on Tuesday, February 10 at 6:00 pm at the Middle School. Pre-Season Saturday Indoor Training Opportunities at Holland Christian Middle School: 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28 3/4 - 1:00pm-2:00pm 5/6 - 2:00pm-3:00pm 7/8 - 3:00pm-4:00pm *These are open to all players interested in trying lacrosse for the first time. Equipment will be available for those who do not have their own.
