Give your camper a summer filled with adventure, friendship, and new experiences at Camp Ohiyesa!
Across more than 300 acres of camp, day campers spend their days exploring the outdoors, trying new activities, building confidence, and discovering new interests. Campers are placed in age-based Trail Groups and travel throughout camp with their counselors to participate in a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities each day.From classic camp traditions to outdoor adventures, every day brings something new—all with the support and supervision of trained YMCA camp staff.
Day Camp 03 Theme: Wizarding World
Your week of Day Camp includes:
- A full day of age-appropriate camp activities
- An age-based Trail Group with dedicated counselors
- Lunch and an afternoon snack each day
- Five days of friendship, adventure, and summer fun!
Registration Details:
- Deposit: $50 per camper, per week — non-refundable
- Sibling Discount: Save 5% on each additional child
- Multi-Activity Discount: Save 5% on each additional activity
- YMCA Membership: Not required
Plans change—we understand! Cancellation requests should be emailed to camp@ymcadetroit.org. Your deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations made April 1, 2027 or later, an additional $50 cancellation fee per camper, per week applies. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the start of your session are not eligible for a refund or credit. Fees are refundable only in the case of illness or injury with a written note from a physician to YMCA Camping Services. In the case of homesickness, dismissal, voluntary withdrawal, late arrivals, or early departures, there will be no refund of fees. Camp registration is not complete until you have completed your online camper forms. Epact will send you an email to complete your profile - it is due one week prior to the start of the camp week.
