Description
Prepare your child to unplug and experience the magic of overnight camp. Out nurturing, genuine, and enthusiastic staff hail from all over the world. At camp there are towards to climb, slides to ride, roaring campfires to gather around, and memories to be made. Overnight campers gain independence, build friend-making skills, challenge their limits, explore the natural world, and create lifelong habits of health living. Overnight camp is a rite of passage we've been passing on since 1918.
Overnight Camp runs from Sunday (check in 4-5pm) to THURSDAY (check out 5:30-6:30pm) -- Camp Ohiyesa does not operate on Jul 4th.
For your overnight camp experience, you can add on Ponderosa (horse back riding) or a Camp Store Account - both are optional!
Refund Policy: All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits can be transferred to a different session or sibling at any time. Refunds (excluding the deposit) can be made until May 1. After May 1, session fees can be transferred to another session or sibling during the current camp season or refunded 50% of the total fee (excluding the deposit). Two weeks prior to the camp session, fees are refundable only in the case of illness or injury with a written note from a physician to camp@ymcadetroit.org. In the case of homesickness, dismal, voluntary withdrawal, late arrivals, or early departures, there will be no refund of fees.
Camp registration is not complete until you have completed your online camper forms. CampDoc will send you an email to complete your profile - it is due one week prior to the start of the camp week.
