Unplug, explore, and discover the magic of Overnight Camp at Camp Ohiyesa!
Since 1918, YMCA Camp Ohiyesa has given campers a place to build confidence, make new friends, try new things, and experience the traditions that make summer camp unforgettable.Throughout the week, campers explore our beautiful outdoor setting while enjoying a variety of age-appropriate activities, adventures, campfires, games, and time with their cabin group. Supported by caring YMCA counselors, campers are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, develop independence, and be part of a welcoming camp community.From active days of adventure to evenings around the campfire, Overnight Camp gives kids the opportunity to disconnect from screens, connect with others, and create memories that last long after summer ends.Overnight Camp B Theme: Wizarding World
Overnight Camp includes:
- Five nights of Overnight Camp
- Lodging with their cabin group and counselors
- Meals and snacks throughout the week
- A variety of age-appropriate camp activities and adventures
- Campfires, traditions, friendships, and plenty of summer fun!

Registration Details
- Deposit: $100 per camper, per session — non-refundable
- Sibling Discount: Save 5% on each additional child
- Multi-Activity Discount: Save 5% on each additional activity
- YMCA Membership: Not required
Plans change—we understand! Cancellation requests should be emailed to camp@ymcadetroit.org. Your $100 deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations made April 1, 2027 or later, an additional $50 cancellation fee per camper, per session applies. Fees are refundable only in the case of illness or injury with a written note from a physician to YMCA Camping Services. In the case of homesickness, dismissal, voluntary withdrawal, late arrivals, or early departures, there will be no refund of fees. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the start of your session are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Camp registration is not complete until you have completed your online camper forms. Epact will send you an email to complete your profile - it is due one week prior to the start of the camp week.
