About This Activity
A structured after-school program for students in grades K–8 who can attend at least three days per week. Built around Dragon’s Den’s five pillars—Academics, Physical Wellness, Nutrition, STEAM, and Mental Health/Social-Emotional Development—the program combines academic support, reading and writing development, 1:1 mentoring, computer lessons, sports, boxing, arts, STEM, cooking, music, gardening, clubs, field trips, and access to our challenge course. Our goal is to see measurable growth in academics, behavior, confidence, and school success through consistent attendance and strong relationships with families, schools, and teachers. This program is free for children who live in Homestead, West Homestead, or Munhall, and for children whose parent or guardian works for the Steel Valley School District.
