About This Activity
Join local award-winning and critically acclaimed poetess, author, writer and realist painter, and strategy/life consultant and coach Kamlika Chandla for this empowering program. Students will learn techniques to explore individual presentation styles, manage worries and anxieties, and speak captivatingly. Using real world examples, topics of interest and personal backgrounds, participants will engage in group discussion, peer-to-peer learning and independent study as they formulate and deliver presentations throughout the week. This class is perfect for those interested in improving at speaking in public spaces and building their confidence to engage in front of an audience. Participants need to bring a nut-free lunch, snack and refillable water bottle each day. Refrigerators and microwaves are not available.
