LUNCH INCLUDED! The registration fee includes lunch each day (M-F) at the Rice Cafeteria. A discount will not be provided for students who bring their own lunch. Student Requirements: Must be a current high school student. Must submit a current report card showing name and the current grade level, and the date. * A $3.00 administrative processing fee will be applied to your registration upon checkout. Building Young Tech Engineers (BYTE!) for current high school students. This one-week summer program is designed to explore how software and hardware work together with Arduinos. No coding or past experience required. Students will receive an Arduino kit and additional sensors at the conclusion of BYTE to continue their exploration. Using Arduino Uno, students will learn how software and hardware work together to solve problems and/or complete tasks. Students will learn how to read Python code, write basic lines of code, learn about circuits and Ohm’s Law, and more. In addition to building and coding pre-planned Arduino projects, students will also plan, build, and code their own projects. Right click here to open a new window and apply for scholarships.
