About This Activity
The Elite University Horseback Riding Camp is a field trip camp. Campers will be bussed to an Equestrian Center in Conroe, Texas Campers will receive: a grounds tour, safety training, and a one hour ride. Campers will also have the opportunity to get to know, and feed their horses. Campers will ride on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Friday. On Mondays and Wednesdays campers will participate in archery. While off campus student teacher ratio will be 10:1 Archery is the art, sport, practice or skill of using a bow to shoot arrows. Campers will learn the skill of archery under the supervision of a trained professional. Campers will be split into age groups and be taught: history of archery, cultural significance around the world, and overall safety. Units Include: • Modern Form • Aiming Methods • Competitive Archery
