About This Activity
Family Day Out is a drop-off program designed for children with disabilities ages 6–15 and their siblings ages 6–10. Each child is paired with a 1:1 buddy, and that’s where you come in! Volunteers play a huge role in making these mornings safe, supportive, and full of joy. Activities may include assisting with games, crafts, movement activities, and helping your paired child feel comfortable and included throughout the morning. 📝 Important Info: • A background check is required prior to participation if over the age of 18 • Training and on-site support will be provided • A nurse will be on staff for toileting support
