About This Activity
Lights! Camera! Rolling! Marker! And…action! Theatre magic isn’t the only magic happening at FPCTA this semester. This program gives students a behind the scenes and in front of the camera look at what it's like to work on a short film. Throughout the semester, students will work together to create an original screenplay, craft a storyboard, and finally film their original 10 minute movie. Along the way students will learn different on-camera acting skills while building confidence in their screen presence. On the last day of class, families and friends will be invited to an informal movie premier where students will debut their final project!
