Discover the art of printmaking in this hands-on introductory course! Perfect for teens who want to create bold, professional works, this class will take you through the fundamentals of printmaking, from designing your own images to producing editions of prints on paper, cloth, and more.We will be learning various printmaking techniques, including block printing and screen-printing, and explore color theory, layering, typography, and positive and negative space. Whether we are carving linoleum blocks, or making designs to print on T-shirts and bags, students will create a collection of prints that showcase their personal style through these unique art forms.
