About This Activity
Description
This workshop will focus on darning, a mending method used primarily for holes in socks. Participants will use a needle and thread/yarn to create a patch directly on the worn garment. They will learn about specialized tools like darning eggs, darning mushrooms, and speedweave looms and find common household items that can be used instead.
Items to bring: socks, sweaters, flannel shirts. Taught by Mads Gullion, @sewdarnradicalNo discounts.
