About This Activity
Instructor: Orchard Makerspace Teacher Scott Weaver Young builders in Grades 2-5 will spend their half day creating a wooden sword, shield, and battle ax in the Makerspace. Campers will learn to use basic hand tools, proper techniques for shaping wood, and explore artistic options to enhance their projects. This camp encourages creativity, problem-solving, and confidence through fun, age-appropriate making.
