About This Activity
Instructor: Orchard Elementary School Learning Support Teacher Beth Larner Bring your creativity to this camp as we upcycle items, such as jeans and t-shirts, into new items. Learn basic sewing skills and possibly some more advanced skills depending on the projects chosen. Project ideas will be provided or campers can bring their own creative ideas. Turn jeans into a bag or backpack, restyle an article of clothing or add embellishments, transform a blanket into a pillow or stuffie, or create a memory quilt from old clothing. Campers should plan to bring some items that they wish to transform into something new, such as items of clothing, blankets, or other fabric items.
