Camptown will provide a Monday through Friday adventure camp at Riverside Adventure Park with a tent overnight Thursday to Friday. This is an ideal camp for beginners who are curious about outdoor recreation opportunities. Participants will begin each day at 9 am at the Riverside Adventure Park. During the weeklong adventure, campers will learn to orienteer, fish, hike, play teambuilding games and prepare for the overnight campout. On Thursday, participants will arrive at 11 am and be picked up by Friday at 1 pm. Thursday evening will consist of a campout in the park. Participants will be allowed to borrow items for the campout, including tents, sleeping bags, etc. Scholarships are available.
This camp will meet at 9 am, Monday through Wednesday, at the Nature Shelter at Riverside Adventure Park. On Thursday, participants will meet at the same location at 11 am for the overnight camping trip off-site. Campers will be picked up at Riverside Adventure Park at 1 pm on Friday.
