Discover the hidden connections of the Hoosier State at Food Webs, our dynamic summer adventure for kids ages 7–11 that brings Indiana’s ecosystems to life. From the sprawling hardwood forests to the bustling prairie lands, campers will track the journeys of local predators and prey through interactive tracking games and hands-on habitat building. It’s a week of outdoor mystery and discovery where young naturalists learn exactly how every plant and animal plays a vital role in our local wild world!
Please apply sunscreen and bug spray before drop-off. Wear good walking shoes (no sandals or flip flops). Bring extra clothes and a water bottle each day. Please pack a non-refrigerated lunch each day. One camp snack will be provided each day. Please inform us of any allergies!
Day Camp Refund Policy
· A full refund will be provided for camps cancelled by Indy Parks.
· A $15 service charge per child per week will be deducted from all refunds and transfers. The $15 is not refundable or transferable and applies to all Indy Parks camps.
· For campers withdrawing from camps at Garfield Park Arts Center, Southeastway, Eagle Creek, Riverside Bike Camp or Holliday, if the camper is withdrawn less than two weeks prior to first day of camp, only 50% of your costs will be refunded.
· Camp withdrawals must be requested no later than the Thursday the week before the camp begins for any refund.
· A refund less the $15 service charge will be issued for medical reasons. A written note is required from a physician. For COVID-19 related illnesses, at-home COVID-19 tests are acceptable.
· A refund may be requested at the park where the program will be held or by contacting Customer Service, 317-327-PARK.
· All check refunds could possibly take six to eight weeks for processing.
· If a camper applies for scholarship but is not granted funds, deposit may be refunded.
