Description
This 5-day adventure camp will be presented by Camptown at Washington Park and will focus on different outdoor skills and activities. Campers will learn to fish, hike, play teambuilding games, and explore other outdoor recreation opportunities. This camp is designed for beginners who are curious about the outdoors or outdoorsy types looking to gain new experiences. The weeklong adventure culminates in an overnight campout. On Thursday, participants will arrive at 11 am and be picked up by Friday at 1 pm. Thursday evening will consist of a campout in the park. Participants will be allowed to borrow items for the campout, including tents, sleeping bags, etc. This camp is offered free of cost, which was made possible by grant funding. Registration is required for this camp.
This camp meets at Washington Park at 9 am, Monday through Wednesday. On Thursday, participants arrive at Washington Park at 11 am and travel off-site to camp overnight. Campers will be picked up at Washington Park the following day, Friday, at 1 pm.
