About This Activity
Description
Spend your summer learning how to weld, cut, and shape metal into awesome creations! In this hands-on camp, you’ll pick up the basics of metalworking and start building your own sculptures and functional pieces.
You’ll explore welding and fabrication, experiment with combining different materials, and develop skills in problem-solving and creative thinking. Along the way, you’ll sketch ideas, bring them to life, and refine your work through group discussions and feedback. We’ll also look at modern sculpture for inspiration.
By the end of the camp, you’ll have the skills (and confidence) to turn your ideas into real, solid creations.
All supplies and equipment are provided.
*Campers may arrive as early as 8:30am. Camp instruction will begin at 9:00am.
