Explore the natural wonders of Indianapolis through hands-on activities and immersive learning. Campers will engage with nature and visit different parks across the city. Our interactive workshops will focus on equitable land and water use, empowering campers to understand their role in protecting their community's vital resources. They'll dive deep into the urban watershed, discover local ecosystems, and explore the significance of urban forestry and green spaces. Additionally, campers will have the unique opportunity to explore career pathways in environmental science and conservation. Join us for a summer of nature exploration and connection to help us build healthier lives and vibrant communities for all!
Drop-off will occur between 7:30 and 8:30 am. Families will walk campers in the front doors at Washington Park Family Center and sign in. Pickup is between 4:30 and 6 pm. All campers must complete the emergency form and return to the park office prior to the first day or camp. Please bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, close-toed shoes, extra clothes, and swimsuit and towel. The emergency form and more info will be emailed to participants.
