About This Activity
Instructor: Orchard 8th Grade English Teacher Jenna Niemeyer This course aims to help sharpen and improve student writing skills. At the middle school level, we will practice handwriting skills and page orientation for MLA format. We will begin with narrative writing, then move into academic writing in the areas of informational writing, persuasive writing, and comparison and contrast. We will spend a short period of time practicing creative writing and the writing of poetry.
