About This Activity

Skill Level: Advanced Camp Breakdown: Communal Build (40%), PVP Games (20%), Survival Island Build (40%) For experienced Minecraft players. This advanced version of our MegaBuild Camp will see campers work collectively as a team to build a single structure (school, stadium, castle, airport, etc..). Campers will also play side-by-side in a survival world using the latest Minecraft version where they can show-off their creativity in constructing and maintaining a homestead complete with mine and farm. Finally, campers will play a variety of PVP games where they will face off against other campers in some of our most exciting PVP challenges. Minecraft Camp Overview:  Each of our Cathedral Minecraft Camps are held for 3 hours each day over a period of 5 days for a total of 15 hours of instruction. At all our camps children experience Minecraft through a customized educational version of the game played on a secure server that includes only other campers and that is continuously monitored by camp counselors. We maintain a 8:1 camper to instructor ratio and offer parents the opportunity to opt their child out of any player vs. player game activities. Each of our Minecraft camps offers a unique curriculum and theme spread across three experience levels (Beginner – Intermediate – Advanced). Additionally, a recommended grade level for each camp is presented to better help parents find the right camp for their child. At each of our camps every camper will have their own computer workstation with computers and game access provided. As such, all campers will play Minecraft on a Mac which will require them to navigate and move using a mouse and keyboard. NOTE: Any grade and experience levels indicated in each camp's description are merely recommendations. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions about your child’s readiness for a camp. *Parents wanting to provide a day-camp experience for their child can sign their child up for both this camp and anoth
