About This Activity
Instructor: Orchard Science Teacher Carli Azar Sourdough Starters is all about the magic of sourdough! In this hands-on camp, children will explore the science behind sourdough—learning how it works, how to feed and care for a starter, and how to bake with it. Throughout the week, campers will bake bread and other tasty treats while experimenting with their sourdough starter and observing how it changes over time. By the end of the week, each camper will take home their very own sourdough starter along with a recipe book they helped create, filled with the delicious recipes they learned together. Camp tuition includes a materials fee.
