Gain confidence through hands-on experience in the wood shop and sculpture studio! Students may choose between two projects to complete over the 7 week course: a bedside table with hardwood top and welded steel frame or a carved wooden wall shelf with welded brackets. A teaching artist will encourage individual expression and reinforce proper tool use and shop safety.
All supplies are provided.
Important information:
- Please wear a cotton shirt, pants and closed toe shoes. No sandals, shorts or synthetics.
- Students must have full vision capabilities, gripping strength with both hands and adequate hand-eye coordination.
