About This Activity
Description
Calling all Coachella Valley Youth! Join us on a rock climbing adventure into Joshua Tree Area! This activity is open to youth ages 10-17 and will include a 4-hour traditional outdoor rock-climbing session in the park followed by a discussion on recreating responsibly. We will discuss topics on leaving no trace. This program is intended to challenge youth to grow their physical and mental abilities on the rock and appreciate the rich cultural and geological history of the high desert.
Includes:
- Transportation for participants
- PCGI Certified Climbing Guides with extensive knowledge of Joshua Tree Routes
- Safety Gear : harnesses, helmets, shoes
- Climbing Soft/Hard Gear
REGISTRATION NOTE: Enrollment for all outdoor adventures opens 6-8 weeks prior to the trip date.
