Description
Intro to fishing for youth and families!
Join us in partnership with California Fish and Wildlife for a morning of fishing. Perfect for beginners! Learn about the fish that live in Lake Cahuilla, how to bait a hook, fishing knots, and leave no trace for anglers. After the workshop, all youth will know how to cast their own line! Come try out this family friendly activity and enjoy a fishing day at the lake. This program is intended for youth ages 5 and older and their families.
This exciting new program is FREE for all participants, no experience or gear necessary. Tackle, Rods, and Interpretative programming all provided. Transportation Provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
NOTE: All who wish to fish and are 16 or older must acquire a fishing license prior to checking in with us at the lake. Parents assisting their children with fishing do not need a license.
