About This Activity
Description
Grab a camera, tell a story! Students will be empowered to explore storytelling through images, as they become the narrators, editors and presenters of their community and life experiences through images. Join us for a series of workshops that will focus on developing visual literacy skills and non-verbal forms of creative expression.Students will:• be introduced to basic photographic components• learn how to use cameras• experiment with telling a story through images • experience photography as a powerful tool to shape one's own perspective and stories of their worlds • opportunity to explore outdoors and nature photography in an urban setting, with sessions being held at Edward Vincent Jr. ParkAge Category
