About This Activity
Description
Grab a Camera and tell a Story! Students will be empowered to explore storytelling as they become the narrator, editor, and presenter of their community. Join us for a series of workshops that will focus on developing visual literacy skills and nonverbal forms of creative expression.
Students will:
- be introduced to basic photographic components
- learn how to use cameras
- experiment with telling a story through images
- experience photography as a powerful tool to shape one's own perspective and stories of their worlds
- opportunity to explore outdoors and nature photography in an urban setting, with sessions at Edward Vincent Park.
