About This Activity
Ages 12+ Instructor: Marcia Rae Adventures in Hand-Building Techniques with Clay. Young artists will learn hand-building skills that allow their creative expression to enliven compositions that can be functional, decorative or both. Pop culture, local wildlife, mythology and more are considered as sources of inspiration that students may use in their creations. Mixed media is introduced as a supplemental tool to enhance and strengthen visual vocabulary.
