Great introduction to the sport of horseback riding. Learn to groom, feed, saddle and control at a trot and rising trot. Skills are progressive. Camp offered in partnership with HHH Ranch. All safety equipment is provided. Snack and water are provided. Please wear denim pants and boots with a heel- NO sandals.
Parents/guardians must drop-off and pick-up participant Monday-Thursday in Cannon Falls (near the Cannon Valley Fair grounds).
Directions will be provided. Additional details and directions will be provided to registered participants one week prior to start of camp.
An IGH Staff member will be on-site with participants. If you have any questions regarding the Horse Camp, please reach out to Rachel Longfellow at rlongfellow@ighmn.gov.
Rain make-up date: Friday, June 12. NO refunds will be given due to additional weather issues.
