Belly dance is traditionally found in Middle Eastern cultures. This class is a fun cardio and strength low-impact workout. It can help tone your arms, legs and mid-section as well as improve your posture. Relax as you dance to the sounds of the beautiful rhythmic music. Participants must be able to easily transition to the floor for ab and leg strengthening exercises. Registration deadline is 1 week prior to the start date.
If you have not attended a Fitness Specialty Program, Orientation or Personal Training session in the last 2 years, please complete the attached form and email it to fitness@ighmn.gov prior to the first day of class or if you prefer you may complete a paper copy at class.
