Description
# Teen Strength will focus on activities that will increase muscular strength and endurance, core and balance. Class will focus on teaching teens proper posture, form, etiquette and safe techniques for strength training. Teens will learn about how muscle groups work together and how to design and track their own workouts. Kids will also receive education on healthy eating and how protein fuels the body. Teens will increase their knowledge, self-confidence and have fun in a motivating environment! Registration Deadline: 7 days in advance of class start date.
If you have not attended a Fitness Specialty Program, Orientation or Personal Training session in the last 2 years, please complete the attached form and email it to fitness@ighmn.gov prior to the first day of class or if you prefer you may complete a paper copy at class.
