Columbia Valley Hockey School - Total Skills and Power Skating Focus Invermere, BC Group B: Week 2 Ages 8, 9 and 10 years old Age: 2014, 2015, 2016 Born Dates: August 5-9 Location: Eddie Memorial Arena Cost: $630.00 / (Includes $30.00 GST & Camp Hockey Jersey) Limited to: 24 Skaters & 4 Goalies Details: 10 hours on ice! The total skills camp is designed to improve the core skills of hockey which include skating, puck handling, passing and shooting. Our high quality instructors will explain, demonstrate and provide opportunity for multiple repetitions for players to maximize their individual potential and development. Power Skating Focus will develop skating skills, edgework and improve overall skating technique. Our main objective is for each participant to enjoy their experience and develop a true passion for the game. On Friday players will have an opportunity to transfer the skills learned during the week and showcase them in a game for their last session. Daily Schedule 9:15am-10:15am – On Ice 10:30am-11:30am – Off Ice 11:45am-12:45pm – Lunch/Classroom 1:00pm-2:00pm – Lecture 2:15pm-3:15pm – On Ice * Friday is GAME DAY. First ice session replicates a professional pre-game skate, that includes going over everything learned from the week. The second ice session is a game, with referees, music and where we invite families to come enjoy and cheer on their athletes. Set in the beautiful town of Invermere, British Columbia. The Columbia Valley Hockey School is an ideal summer hockey camp destination for the whole family! Our Vision: For every player to have the opportunity to participate develop and achieve success in a positive and enjoyable atmosphere. Refund policy: *Sign up before March 31st guarantees a full refund 3-months prior to camp opening. Within 3-months of camp dates - medical exemptions will be accepted with a full refund but any cancellation for personal reasons will be a $100 cancellation/administration fee.
