Refund Guidelines
We understand that plans can change and that you may need to withdraw from a week or more. However, since camp space is limited, we want to ensure that those enrolling are truly wanting the spot and not hedging their options. For every space filled, there are likely to be interested campers on the waitlist or others that have had to seek alternative options once they realize the camp is full. The following is the camp-specific refund policy.
Refund requests must be made in writing to the Program Supervisor using one of the following options. The camper(s) and the weeks being requested for withdrawal must both be listed in the communication.
Email: mhill@iowa-city.org
Letter: Iowa City Parks & Recreation Departmentc/o Megan Hill, Program Supervisor220 S. Gilbert St.Iowa City, IA 52240
Each withdrawal will be assessed a $50.00 cancellation fee, per camper, per week.
Refunds will not be issued for any withdrawal requests made less than 2 weeks in advance of the start date.
Pro-rated refunds may be considered for health-related issues may be considered but not guaranteed. This request will need to be made in writing as noted above and is at the discretion of the Program Supervisor. A doctor’s note may be required.
