About This Activity

This is a parent-coached program. Participants will learn ball handling, defense and shooting on goal. Register for practice on a convenient day and time. Games are on Thursdays
The IC Parks & Rec preschool soccer program is parent coached. Teams may be cancelled and refunds offered if a coach is not available.
All communication from the IC Parks & Rec will come through patron's email listed on Active Net account. Parents should confirm correct email at time of registration.
Participants should report for practice time, day, and location for which they registered. Parents are encouraged to verify receipt for accuracy. Volunteer coaches will not contact parents prior to the first practice.
All weather cancellation will be made and posted at 4 on the Iowa City Recreation Division Rainoutline. Cancellations will be posted under Rec Division Preschool Soccer. Disregard any cancellations posted under the site where the game is to be played. Parents may register to receive text or email notification regarding weather cancellations.
Game schedules will not be handed out. Parents can access updated game schedule on the Iowa City Recreation Division website. A weekly email will be sent out as a reminder.
The IC Parks and Rec will provide soccer balls and goals. Although not required, participants are strongly encouraged to wear shin guards. Participants should also bring water bottles.
